A story set in the Unicron Trilogy continuity, recounting a version of the Beast Wars that took place in that timeline. A human-and-Autobot archaeology team uncovers ruins from an unknown Mesoamerican culture called the Natiltec. Encoded in their primitive pictographs is a message from Rhinox, who provides a translation of the Natiltec language. The Natiltec describe how shape-changing gods fell from the sky and battled one another, eventually enslaving some of their tribe to harvest crystals for them, until they were saved by a winged wolf god. Archaeologist girl wonders if maybe the animal deities of all ancient cultures were really Transformers! This is so boring!
Not worth counting as canon. If we wanted to, however, we'd have to explain why it has the Beast Wars taking place a mere 3,000 years ago (as opposed to 70,000 years ago, 180,000 years ago, or millions of years ago, all dates we've been given in other canon sources) in the presence of modern humans instead of Australopithecus or whatever the "anthropoids" on the show were supposed to be. Also apparently they were in South America or something? I don't think so, man.
